Fly fishing is my all time favorite style of fishing. It is meant to challenge even the most prestigious anglers. I love fly fishing because it is all about the hunt. You cannot just blind cast with a fly rod and expect to catch a fish, you must be patient and execute the cast with minimal error. Fly fishing is all sight fishing, the advantages of fly fishing is that the flies are extremely light and are meant to mimic the smallest of bait fish. It can be extremely frustrating at times. However, when you do get to watch a sizeable gamefish commit to your fly and absolutely crush it, you will be ready for more.
